With 2 days to go , things are getting really exciting! We’ve been setting up shop all day and we expect to keep doing that right up until Wednesday night to get everything ready for all you people by Thursday. Here’s a peek , with Cindy Lee setting up her favourite section. Brave leap for CIndy to leave the corporate world and ‘take flight’ with Smidapaper, doing what she loves. Cindy hosts a ‘thank you’ tag , make & take on Friday, which happens to be Thanksgiving Day. Make a tag to give to someone, show how thankful you are… See you all soon!

So here’s the next challenge. I’m so inspired by all the tags I’ve been seeing everywhere, so this time around the challenge is to make a tag. Something to give away, to keep, to inspire, to hang on your Christmas tree or to attach to a special gift. The tag must include the colour cream, green or light blue & have at least one vintage inspired element. Entries to be sent to smidapaper@mac.com by Monday Dec 13th . Best tag wins a RM50 smidapaper voucher.

Hey, everyone! We thought we might share some pics of the fun we had at the IWA Xmas  Bazaar last Saturday. Even though it’s November, the event put everyone in a Christmassy mood. We hardly had a chance to sit down but our spirits kept us going. All the hard work of the previous weeks really was worth it . I must thank all the elves for helping so much, especially Cindy . (I think she went home and spent the whole weekend creating !!) Now that that’s over, all energies are now focused on getting the new store ready…

In this class you will spend 3 hours creating unique chipboard mini album that will feature the things that you adore in your life. You’ll learn how to play with October Afternoon’s latest papers, punches, flowers, ribbons, explore the usage of stamps & many more! This class will teach you how to think outside of the box, experiment with layers and show you how to make the most out of ALL your supplies. You will walk away with a one of a kind album full of new techniques and ideas to use in your future mini album endeavors.
