Erm! Even more eskimo kisses?
Well, I’m really just getting into the Christmas mood! And having loads of fun! These ones got all blinged out and I’m sure they wouldn’t get to the recipient in the mail…
but, I think they’ll sit quite nicely on the new chest of drawers in the dining room… next to the reindeer basket… and miniature tree… aaah, Christmas!
I used everything ‘Eskimo Kisses’ from Basic Grey. Hmmm, I wonder if I have anything left to sell!? Some tiny alphas form Making Memories. Trim from Prima, stickles, distress …Bazzill cardstock.

If you’re feeling a little stuck with your Xmas cards, we have 3 opportunities for you to catch up in December. Details, soon!

December is right around the corner! =) yikes, wait, I’m not ready…
More Eskimo Kisses
I learnt something today! That you can make a lot of cards from 2 sheets of patterned paper. And because these are double sided paper,
you get more variety and yet, stay within the theme. I suppose the collection dictates the mood as well. These two cards turned out a little vintage, with a touch of whimsy.
I’m sure I can get at least 2 more cards from the leftover paper… =) Come on , join in the fun. I’m almost ready to put up the tree!

Preparing For Christmas
Last year I only made my Xmas cards after we closed the shop for the Xmas holidays. They never made it to the post office!
SO this year I’m starting early =) An unlikely Xmas color combo from Basic Grey’s Eskimo Kisses. This range features traditional red & green, sprinkled with pinks & blues. The house is from a rub on, cut out and popped out with sticky squares. Sparkly glitter chipboard Thickers from American Craft. Ribbon from May Arts.
Available in store now! Can’t wait to make some more…

Colour!
I noticed something the last 2 layouts I made, colour seems to be creeping in! =D While I’ve always preferred a more subdued palette, I figured ‘fun in the sun’ pics needed some red, & yellow & happy blue. Sassafras is perfect for this sort of memory keeping and now I’m thinking red really is nice!

( Sassafras Sweet Marmalade available at Cziplee Plus Bangsar, too)

Esther kept talking about blue & yellow, subconsciously I was working it into my page =)
We’re working on all new class content for beginners so if you’re new to this art and would like to explore the possibility of scrapbooking, look out for our classes in November. Plus a new mini book workshop! Sneaks, soon.
