what I’m loving now!
So Christmas has gone. And so has January! Sat with Sarah, me making my first ever Chinese new year card and she doing vocab, giving me the odd suggestion.(which would explain the colourful ‘i love you’ ribbon on my valentine card. Hee!) So we’re having fun and I’m thinking “I love my punches ! ”

I stayed away from my distress ink, didn’t think Dad would appreciate it. But I love the versatility of this punch which I layered with a flower. (Yup, still into those )

This border punch is going to be my favourite. So delicate, oriental even, in red. I can imagine it in off white or even black.

I tried. I really did, to make a more masculine looking card. But pink? And this sweet eyelet border punch in light teal. Sarah’s comment? Well, it wasn’t made by a guy! Not sure if I’ll make more CNY cards but , for sure, I’m going to be using these punches again. A lot! And soon!
update
Dear smidapaper friends,
I’m sure you have been waiting for my update! Well, we’ve been looking back at the past 4 smidapaper years and had to pause to see if smidapaper would continue in the same direction. The truth is much has changed and we wanted to take some time to make sure the next step we take would be the right one. It’s been a very interesting and busy time since we closed for the Christmas break and I can’t say that we’re any closer to a decision. I’m sure that some of you are running out of supplies for your projects! We’ve had a few friends make appointments to come and get stuff from us. =)
In February we will have a shopping day on Saturday 20th. And we’re preparing for our big sale , starting March 4th. Start making your lists because everything will be on sale at super bargains. If you are keen on buying ‘wholesale’ or in bulk, we will consider special prices for purchases above RM5000/- Send us an e mail if you’re interested. In the meantime , if you absolutely need something urgently, e mail us and we’ll see what we can do.
I hope January has been an awesome start to 2010 for you and that it continues to unfold into your best year ever!
Peace & love,
Sheila

non traditional
After a day of red & green card & tag making and a turquoise, cream & red spree on my December book, I wanted to end the day making a Xmas card in black!
Not for me, goth & grunge, although a black Xmas card may point to such an inclination, In the end it turned out pretty merry, eh?

What I’m Loving Now!
Basic Grey ‘bling it’ Xmas tree, Hambly transparencies, turquoise, cream & red Xmas combo! Happy December!
